Jack, the founder of UAI, has overall responsibility for directing the firm. In addition he leads UAI's management practice and planning practice. For the past eight years, he has represented UAI as senior organizational development consultant to the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC).
Before establishing UAI in 1986, he served in the number two position at New York's Jewish Federation. More >

 Ron Miller, Ph.D. Vice President, Research
|
Ron has primary responsibility for UAI's policy research practice. He has co-directed all of UAI's community studies including Atlanta, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Denver, New York, Phoenix, Pittsburgh and San Diego. He has also directed field surveys of park user characteristics and preferences for UAI.
Prior to joining UAI, Ron was an associate professor of sociology in Brooklyn College, teaching at the college for twenty-five years prior to his "early" retirement. More >

 Pearl Beck, Ph.D. Director, Evaluation

Pearl leads UAI evaluation practice and participates in other policy research and planning projects. As part of the Ukeles research team, Dr. Beck played the lead role in producing the demographic profile of New York's Jewish neighborhoods for the UJA-Federation of New York, 2002 Jewish Community Study. Her recent projects include a study of educational decision making among intermarried families (for the Jewish Federation of Cleveland) and an evaluation of a national synagogue renewal program (for the Legacy Heritage Foundation).  Chani Radinsky Executive Assistant

Chani serves currently as executive assistant to UAI's President. Her duties include being the administrative liaison to UAI consultants and sub-contractors, handling report and information production for UAI clients, and providing general assistance to the UAI team on a day to day basis.
Prior to joining UAI, she interned in the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Christies, and the Yeshiva University Museum.
Chani received a B.A. degree in history from Stern College for Women, Yeshiva University in May 2007.
